About Us

Love Free or Die ® began as a series of popular LGBTQ+ pop-up bars hosted around
New Hampshire by husbands J.M. Hirsch and Nicholas King. When the pandemic
quashed public gatherings, they looked for a fresh way to spread the message that
everyone deserves to love as they like. New Hampshire’s Live Free or Die motto
was the inspiration they needed to declare it loud and proud nationwide.
